MOBILE, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 21, 2016-- Evident, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of CPSI (NASDAQ: CPSI) and a leading provider of electronic health record (EHR) systems and services, today announced that it has been recognized as the top-ranked inpatient EHR vendor for hospitals under 100 beds by Black Book Rankings. This is the sixth consecutive year the Company has been recognized as the top EHR vendor for client satisfaction in small and rural hospitals under 100 beds.
In years prior, Evident’s EHR has been recognized in the Black Book Rankings under the name CPSI; however, in April of 2015, CPSI formed Evident as part of a holistic rebranding and marketing strategy for its EHR solution. As part of that strategy, the Company renewed its longtime commitment to customer support and satisfaction and implemented a new support model to further improve the overall customer experience.
This year’s Black Book Rankings survey also assessed Health Information Technology (HIT) Loyalty and New Generation EHR and advanced support solutions. The HIT Loyalty findings showed that Evident was among the top four vendors who had the highest increase in brand loyalty. The New Generation EHR and advanced support solutions findings ranked Evident at the top of the list for the Company’s Security and Privacy Enhancements.
“Our recognition once again as the top EHR vendor for hospitals under 100 beds is a testament both to the proven functionality of our EHR solution and our dedication to providing a superior customer experience,” said Evident President and Chief Executive Officer Boyd Douglas. “We value the Black Book Ranking as their market research is independent and objective resulting in rankings that provide a credible and trustworthy picture of the market. We are proud that, according to this independent research, we have been top of class in client satisfaction for six consecutive years. Recently there has been some amount of industry conversation around other EHR vendors’ efforts to enter the rural and community healthcare market, despite the absence of substantive execution of any scale. We appreciate Black Book’s acknowledgement of our leadership based on actual market performance that has been consistently top rated year over year. The finding that our customer loyalty has increased this past year along with our top overall client satisfaction ranking is clear indication that our continued commitment to community healthcare is recognized by those organizations and their providers. Following last week’s designation by Forbes Magazine as one of the ‘100 Most Trusted Companies in America’ in which we were one of only six companies to achieve the highest score of 99 out of 100, recognition by Black Book Ranking is further proof that our company does things the right way in all aspects of our business.”
